Health Office

The two Health Aides standing side by side in the doorway of a dutch door. They are leaning on the door and smiling at the camera.

While our school nurse, contracted through Children’s Hospital, isn’t on campus daily, we have two wonderful health aides who are.

Our health aides, Ms. Tiffany Jones and Ms. Paula Rodriguez are trained to:

  • Administer routine medications
  • Provide first aid for injuries
  • Triage students using illness policies to determine if they should stay in school or go home

When needed, other trained staff may also provide coverage in the health office to ensure students receive the care they need.

On this page, you’ll find everything you need to know about Bromley East’s health policies and procedures—from managing illnesses and administering medications to supporting students with specific health needs. We’ve also included important information about immunizations and emergency protocols.

Health Policies and Procedures

Immunizations

Colorado law requires that Bromley East Charter School have on file a certification stating that students have received immunizations against communicable diseases as specified by the Department of Health at enrollment. Students who are not up-to-date on their immunizations may not attend school.
