Discipline

A large group of students and our three Principals seated in the gym in honor of the SOAR Student Awards.

Behavior and discipline are central to creating a safe, supportive environment where students can truly thrive.

Our approach focuses on accountability, empathy, and growth. Guided by our SOAR core values—Success, Ownership, Attitude, and Respect—we intentionally teach and reinforce positive behaviors in every corner of our school.

Using strategies like Restorative Practices, we help students learn from mistakes, repair harm, and rebuild trust while honoring their dignity. Rather than focusing on punishment, we aim to empower our students to take ownership of their actions, develop empathy, and make better choices moving forward. By addressing challenges with compassion and offering tailored social-emotional support, we give students the tools they need to grow into thoughtful, responsible individuals.

Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about our discipline policies, behavior expectations, and how we celebrate the positive choices that make our community strong.
