Specials and Electives give students the chance to step outside traditional academics and discover new dimensions of themselves.
Whether it’s expressing emotions through art or music, learning the teamwork that comes with sports, or solving real-world problems in Smart Lab, these subjects tap into parts of a child’s development that math and reading alone can’t touch.

Specials for Elementary Students
Kindergarten through fifth graders rotate through five Specials throughout the year, spending one week at a time in:

Electives for Middle School Students
Middle schoolers (6th-8th Grade) dive deeper into their interests through a variety of Electives, rotating through two courses per trimester on a "wheel" system. Electives include:

Students also have opportunities to shine in extracurriculars like the K-8 Spring Musical, Talent and Art Show, and a wide variety of after-school Clubs!
