Principal Advisory Committee

The Principal Advisory Council (PAC) gives our 3rd through 8th grade students a unique opportunity to lead with purpose by serving as the voice of their peers.
Through close collaboration with school administration, these young leaders bring forward fresh perspectives as they organize thoughtful initiatives and events to improve the student experience and help shape a stronger, more inclusive school community.

What Are the Roles and Responsibilities?
The PAC meets twice a month and members take on key leadership roles and responsibilities, including:
- Advocating for student needs and perspectives
- Analyzing student culture survey results to identify goals for improving the school experience
- Planning and leading impactful initiatives, such as Kindness Week: A celebration of compassion and connection, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere across the school
- Supporting school events in leadership and logistical roles
Note: While the administration doesn’t attend every meeting, they regularly collaborate with the PAC on initiatives that align with Bromley East’s mission and values.
Being a student at Bromley has been amazing for all of my children. Most recently, my daughter had the opportunity to participate in a leadership role in relationship to the Meet the Candidate Night. She was thrilled to be part of such a great event. I believe that having leadership roles in the classroom and at the school have helped to build confidence in my daughter. It is also helped to make her a more caring person. She has learned to take charge and be assertive yet help out other children when needed.

How Students Join PAC
Students interested in joining PAC apply at the end of 5th grade.
Selected students commit to serving throughout middle school, becoming integral voices in school decision-making and community-building efforts.
This is an opportunity for students to grow as leaders, make meaningful contributions, and help create a better experience for their peers at Bromley East!
