Bromley East Parents:
This morning, the Bromley Board of Directors met for a special board meeting to discuss Bromley's plan for the opening of the 2020-21 school year. For those not able to attend the meeting, we have provided information below that we as Executive Directors presented and want to make sure all parents receive. Also, we would encourage you to go to the school website and review the minutes from today's Board of Directors meeting.
As a charter school, we are not constrained by the innumerable logistics of a large school district such as 27J. We have spent the summer working with staff to further refine the plan we drafted at the beginning of the summer. The plan for this year has gone through different phases as we have worked to incorporate the school guidance from the Colorado Department of Education and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. This guidance has changed throughout the summer and our plan has changed accordingly.
We feel strongly that we are planned, prepared, and ready to greet students whether it be for in person learning or remote learning. There will be no delay in the start of the school year. We will, however, transition students back into the building or remotely in the following fashion. These will be full days. More information will be provided in next week's parent newsletter.
August 12 - Grades 1, 3, and 6
August 13 - Grades 2, 4, and 7
August 14 - Grades K, 5, and 8
August 17 - All students begin
Thank you for your ongoing patience, grace, and support as we are all trying to do what is best for our students, staff, and families.
Dr. Jessica Fiedler and Mrs. Tracy Webber, Co-Executive Directors
