What Will My Child Learn?

A Rigorous and Relevant Curriculum

Our curriculum is built on state-approved, research-backed programs that offer the critical building blocks for academic success. By leveraging innovative teaching strategies, we make this material accessible and inspiring, creating a learning experience that’s as engaging as it is effective.

Our Approach

We make learning enjoyable and practical for all learning styles by using the “workshop model” to deliver instruction in small, bite-sized chunks, which allows students to do something with what they’ve learned through collaboration and projects that showcase their progress.

BECS keeps us returning every year because we have luckily had some phenomenal educators such as Mrs. Cole, Miss Andy, Mrs. Bergman, and Mrs. Frazier (to name a few). As parents, we can't thank them enough for the hard work and dedication they have put into teaching our children and helping them on their path to success. They definitely put their light and love in these children and it shows, and also they have helped us help them at home to make sure our kids are successful, it's really felt like a partnership the whole way through. Thank you all!Katy Zimmerman MarmolejoBECS Parent

How Will My Child Be Supported?

Social-Emotional Well-Being and a Sense of Belonging

We understand that growing up comes with unique academic, social, and emotional challenges. Beyond academic instruction, we’re devoted to ensuring your child feels acknowledged, supported, and thoughtfully guided for as long as they’re growing with us.

I like the safety here. I like how caring it is. The teachers are really kind and supportive and they teach you a lot of stuff! I have learned about stamina and reading and writing. We have menus and packets and we have choices. We build our stamina by not talking and focusing on our work without getting distracted!

How Will My Child Grow as a Leader?

Teaching Children to be the Leader of Their Own Experience

As a Leader In Me school, all students learn Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits, which serve as foundational principles for personal and social growth. Children learn the value of setting goals, taking ownership of their choices, and approaching problems with a positive, solution-oriented mindset so they can become leaders in learning and in life.

Visit our Leader in Me page to learn more about this program’s groundbreaking approach to education and discover how these values positively impact your child’s everyday life.

Beyond the classroom, we offer a range of programs that help students discover their unique leadership voice and make an impact in their community.

Bromley East Charter School has done a fantastic job of helping my daughter grow into a leader.

She has been given the opportunity to participate in many activities inside the classroom and out. These opportunities have allowed her to expand her initiative and learn what it means to lead others. The teachers and staff really care about the students overall success both in academics and personal growth. As a parent, I could not ask for a better group of educators to encourage and guide her as she aspires to reach for the stars. Thank you!

I have been a part of the Bromley family for over 22 years watching my two grown children go through this school for nine years. I have worked as a teacher with Bromley going on 20 years. This school is my family.

The people are my family, and I have developed great friendships and relationships. The students are my joy, and they are the reason I come to work every day. I feel blessed to work in a place with structure, vision, and relationships as the foundation to create a safe environment for students to grow academically.

I love coming to work every day, knowing that I can make a real impact on children and be their guide for learning and feel blessed that I have the autonomy to do so. I continue to watch the school change and look forward to so much more growth.
