Middle School (6th-8th Grade)

Our Middle School Program bridges the transition from childhood to adolescence, equipping students with the competence, courage, and independence they need to take on high school and beyond.
Our core middle school teachers—specializing in Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies—are each assigned to one grade level, creating opportunities for collaboration, cross-curricular learning, and a shared focus on supporting each group of students. This intentional structure creates a cohesive educational experience for our young leaders, allowing them to form deeper connections with their teachers, peers, and the material.
Beyond the classroom, students take ownership of their education by leading parent-teacher conferences, showcasing their progress, and setting meaningful goals. And with access to a variety of electives and team-based projects, our students are encouraged to explore their interests in an environment that values collaboration and individuality—blending the power of teamwork with the freedom to be uniquely yourself.

Middle School Class Schedule
Effective at the start of the 2025-2026 school year, middle school students will transition away from the previous block schedule to a daily schedule with 57-minute classes.

How Will My Child Be Supported?
Social-Emotional Well-Being and a Sense of Belonging
We understand that growing up comes with unique academic, social, and emotional challenges. Beyond academic instruction, we’re devoted to ensuring your child feels acknowledged, supported, and thoughtfully guided for as long as they’re growing with us.

Teaching Children to be the Leader of Their Own Experience
As a Leader in Me School, we empower students with Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, teaching essential life skills like goal-setting, collaboration, and personal responsibility to shape well-rounded, future-ready leaders.

Strengthening Leadership for Life’s Next Steps
In middle school, the Leader in Me program shifts toward a deeper exploration of leadership and personal responsibility. Students refine their ability to set and achieve goals, make thoughtful decisions, and navigate teamwork with intention and respect, preparing them to step into high school and beyond as capable, self-assured leaders.
