Our LA program, StudySync, builds on the foundation of Wonders (K-5), guiding middle school students to become confident readers and articulate writers.

What Makes StudySync Exceptional:

The Envision Math 2.0 program focuses on building a strong foundation in problem-solving and critical thinking through hands-on, interactive learning. It encourages students to explore, question, and understand not just the how behind math, but the why.​​

As students make their thinking visible, work together to model problems, reason through solutions, and explain their ideas, they’re not just learning essential math skills, they’re building critical skills for life.

At Bromley, we believe math success is a collaborative effort between school and home. To support this partnership, we provide parents with family resources from Envision Math 2.0, including instructional videos and activities that reinforce classroom concepts.

Students also benefit from Zearn, a state-supported tool that strengthens their understanding through independent practice both at school and at home.

ENVISION MATH 2.0 WEBSITE

Through hands-on labs and teacher-crafted units aligned with Colorado standards, Bromley’s science program guides students to think critically, solve problems, and explore the world through inquiry and experimentation.

Central to the curriculum is the Scientific Method, where students learn to ask questions, test ideas, and analyze results to draw meaningful conclusions. This approach builds a foundation for understanding how knowledge is constructed and applied.

Students also refine communication skills by presenting findings in various formats, from charts and graphs to written summaries.

Our science program prepares students to analyze, innovate, and contribute meaningfully to the world around them.

Our social studies program prepares our students to become well-rounded, conscious thinkers by integrating the study of history, geography, economics, civics, and personal financial literacy.

Together, these disciplines shape students into informed, responsible citizens, equipping them with the critical thinking skills, global awareness, and decision-making abilities necessary to navigate and contribute to an interconnected and evolving world.

​​Grade-Level Focus

• 6th Grade: The Western Hemisphere
  Students explore the civilizations of the Western Hemisphere, studying their relationships, geographic influences, and systems of government and economics. A highlight of the program is the International Towne curriculum, where students apply their knowledge by running a mock global economy during an exciting field trip. They take on roles such as elected officials and business leaders, managing currencies and navigating international trade.

• 7th Grade: The Eastern Hemisphere
  Focusing on the Eastern Hemisphere, students examine its civilizations, geographic landscapes, and systems of government and economics, gaining a deeper understanding of the region's history and its role in the global context.
   
• 8th Grade: United States History
  Students dive into American history, from the American Revolution through Reconstruction. Through the lens of the five pillars of social studies, they analyze the events, people, and ideas that shaped the nation’s identity and democracy.

Middle schoolers dive deeper into their interests through a variety of Electives, rotating through two courses per trimester on a "wheel" system. 

Electives include Art, Band, Physical Education, STEM (Smart Lab), Theater, Spanish, and Team Sports.

Students participate in two PE courses throughout the year, each with a unique focus: Team Sports and Fitness & Wellness.

For students who choose Band, the year-long program allows for deeper musical growth while still offering opportunities to explore other electives during each trimester.

Explore Middle School Electives

Every student learns differently, that’s why we’re dedicated to meeting each child where they are.

Middle School teachers monitor student learning daily and respond with research-based approaches to help ensure each student makes progress toward grade-level goals.

Some students may need additional support beyond the general classroom. Bromley provides this additional support through a course called Learning Lab where identified students receive specialized instruction in one or more areas of need which could include math, language arts or English language development.

This course is offered in place of one elective class. Students may be scheduled for part or all of the school year depending on their academic needs and progress.

All grades have access to technology and middle school students are each assigned to a Chromebook laptop.

Daily 30-minute sessions focus on applying leadership principles to academic, social, and personal growth.

Through Bromley Important Goals (BIGs), students take charge of their personal and academic growth by identifying meaningful objectives. They break these goals into actionable steps, track their progress, and reflect on their achievements, developing a proactive mindset, independence, and a sense of accountability along the way.

This is where students articulate their personal mission statements, set and track goals, and reflect on their progress. Self-awareness, developed through this introspective process, not only supports emotional well-being but also equips students to lead with insight, integrity, and a collaborative spirit.

Middle school students take ownership of their academic journey by leading their own parent-teacher conferences. Through thoughtful preparation, they showcase their progress, articulate their goals, and demonstrate the leadership skills they’re building each day.
