Elementary (K-5th Grade)

Our Elementary Program provides the foundation for a well-rounded education, where children develop skills that lay the groundwork for a lifelong love of learning.
Through a balance of structured academics and creative exploration, we provide a learning experience that emphasizes both core competencies—like reading, writing, and math—and the deeper qualities that build strong character and self-confidence.
With small group instruction, hands-on projects, and targeted support through WIN (What I Need) sessions, we ensure that every student builds a solid academic foundation and develops the habits that make learning enjoyable and meaningful.
During these years, our students strengthen critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities, equipping them for a successful educational journey.
I have loved all the teachers that my students have had an elementary. All the teachers genuinely care for the students and put a plan in place for the students who are struggling. I love the collaboration between the sped team, intervention team, and classroom teachers. One of my students has made tremendous progress.

How Will My Child Be Supported?
Social-Emotional Well-Being and a Sense of Belonging
We understand that growing up comes with unique academic, social, and emotional challenges. Beyond academic instruction, we’re devoted to ensuring your child feels acknowledged, supported, and thoughtfully guided for as long as they’re growing with us.
Visit our Why Families Choose BECS page for a comprehensive overview of all the ways we support your child’s sense of well-being.

Teaching Children to be the Leader of Their Own Experience
As a Leader in Me School, we empower students with Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, teaching essential life skills like goal-setting, collaboration, and personal responsibility to shape well-rounded, future-ready leaders.

Building Leadership Habits from the Start
In elementary school, the Leader in Me program helps students begin their leadership journey with age-appropriate lessons and activities. Through daily routines and meaningful opportunities, children apply the 7 Habits in ways that build confidence, teach responsibility, and encourage collaboration, preparing them with the skills they need to lead with purpose.
Want to explore the 7 Habits further? Visit our Leader in Me page to learn more about this program’s groundbreaking approach to education and discover how these values positively impact your child’s everyday life.
