Mr. Noah Albrecht

My name is Mr. Albrecht, and I am the 8th grade science teacher for Bromley East. In addition to teaching the core 8th grade science classes, I also teach the Robotics elective course. This marks the beginning of my second full year of teaching here at Bromley. I began teaching three years ago substituting  in Kalamazoo Michigan prior to moving out to Colorado, fulfilling the role of teaching middle school science in the wonderful community of Brighton. To say the least I love it here! The staff, students, and parents have all been very welcoming to a new face around the school, and I have had nothing but the highest degree of support since I got here. I really appreciate it!

To describe my own personal education and credentials, I graduated from Western Michigan University’s College of Education in Kalamazoo Michigan during the winter of 2009 with a Bachelor of Secondary Science in Biology, and a minor in Environmental Studies.  I then assumed the role of a long term substitute teacher for Kalamazoo public schools the remainder of the 2009 and beginning of the 2010 school year, prior to moving to Colorado.

In my free time when I am not here at the school or planning lessons,  I enjoy fly fishing and spending every last minute I can experiencing the many  natural quality’s Colorado and the Rocky Mountains have to offer. This August completed my fourth consecutive year of being a Coast Guard OUPV certified captain and licensed fly fishing guide for a remote fly-in lodge in the Alaskan wilderness. The teaching job I was fortunate enough to receive here at Bromley complements the very busy, sometimes rugged, nomadic lifestyle that I truly enjoy, and I plan on living this way for many years to come.  I incorporate many experiences, stories, and pictures from my Alaskan lifestyle into lessons whenever I can to make a very unique teaching style that I believe the students will truly enjoy and benefit from.

Ms. Aubree Markwardt

Aubree is starting her second year as a teacher at BECS and couldn’t imagine working anywhere else.  After receiving a middle childhood-early adolescence teaching degree in Wisconsin, she decided to brave it in Colorado.   She is currently pursuing her masters in science curriculum and continually expanding her knowledge of science and teaching practices.  This year she is most excited to teach about geologic time, biodiversity and phase changes.
