Mr. Jesse Ornelis – Lower Montessori (1/2/3)

My name is Jesse Ornelis and I am so excited to be joining the Bromley East family! I am an Illinois native who moved to Colorado about three years ago. For the last ten years I have been teaching Montessori. I began teaching at a private Montessori school running a K-6 class for seven years. Upon moving to Colorado I landed at a Montessori charter school in Golden where I taught a 1-3 grade lower elementary class for the last three years. I am certified in 3-6 Montessori and 6-9 Montessori. I live in Boulder with my fiance Heather and our three dogs: Petey, Norman, and Louis. I enjoy camping, mountain biking, laughing, guitar, football, and cooking, amongst other things.

Ms. Julie Sullivan – Upper Montessori (4/5)

I am originally from Illinois.  I came here to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1997 where I received my bachelor’s degree. I spent 10 years as a caregiver for elderly adults during this time and travelled to various corners of the globe before having my daughter Elizabeth and marrying my husband Christian.  I recently got my teaching certificate for K-5 Elementary in the State of Colorado from Metro State College of Denver. I graduated with honors and also pursued masters level courses in education at this time.  My daughter Elizabeth has just turned 4 years old and will be attending Bromley East when she gets older!
