Mr. Brian Bucenec

I was born in the Bronx, New York,January 25, 1948. I attended Ramapo College of New Jersey and received my BFA in Fine Arts with a concentration in music in 1979. My Montessori certification was received from MECR, The Montessori Education Center of the Rockies in Boulder, Co. in 1985.
I have taught young children, preschoolers and kindergarteners, since 1980, mostly with Boulder Montessori School starting in 1982 and Bromley East Charter School in 2001.I have 6 children: Rebecca 29, Emily 27, Megan 24, Grace 22, Christopher 18 and Teresa 16. I am a musician. I play the piano, the guitar, the bass and drums and I also sing. I love to read. My favorite form of physical activity is golf.

Ms. Amy Griffin

Amy Griffin Smith is thrilled to be part of the Bromley East Charter School family, and loves teaching Kindergarten! She is a recent graduate of Regis University, where she completed the Master of Education program for Elementary Education. Amy has been the owner and director of Griffin’s Youth Theatre, an after-school theatre program for local gifted and talented schools for three years. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Northern Colorado in Theatre Directing and Visual Art, and has taught high school theatre and choir, as well as elementary and middle school performance classes.

Ms. Tiffany Hickey

I moved to Colorado in 2000 to attend college and never left! This is my 8th year at Bromley East Charter School, and by far, it is the most exciting. Not to say that the previous years have not been amazing, because they have, and I cannot express enough thank you to various families throughout the years, BUT this is a very exciting year! Thank you for sharing your child with me! Always remember, “Prepare the Child for the Path, Not the Path for the Child.”
