Lori Sheldon is an avid and enthusiastic learner. She most recently received her Gifted and Talented Endorsement, which allowed her to train under numerous national and international educators. Additionally, she has a BA in Business Management and a BA in Elementary Education. Her Master’s Degree is in Instruction and Curriculum from Colorado Christian University.
Mrs. Sheldon has an eagerness for creatively exploring learning. This has been demonstrated by her most recent position as a gifted and talented director/teacher for Kendrick Lakes Elementary School in Jefferson County. Serving in this capacity has allowed her to lead numerous training sessions throughout Colorado. She also served as an instructional leader where she had the opportunity to train and mentor teachers. Under her leadership Kendrick Lakes showed the most growth of any gifted and talented center school in the county.
Lori has also enjoyed working with inner city students in San Francisco, California; teaching Inuit Indians in Alaska, and designing a gifted program for a Title I school in Jefferson County.
