Ms. Roberta Harrell – Principal

Roberta Harrell has a passion for learning as exemplified by her current work on her dissertation, the final step to receive her PhD from the University of Denver.  Her dissertation focuses on the importance of implementing a STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) into schools, beginning at the Kindergarten level.  Ms. Harrell has a passion for creating critical thinking, problem solvers to become the leaders of tomorrow!  She received her Masters Degree in Technology in Education from the University of Colorado at Denver and earned her B.S. degree from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana.

LoriSheldon

Ms. Lori Sheldon – Assistant Principal

Lori Sheldon is an avid and enthusiastic learner.  She most recently received her Gifted and Talented Endorsement, which allowed her to train under numerous national and international educators.  Additionally, she has a BA in Business Management and a BA in Elementary Education.  Her Master’s Degree is in Instruction and Curriculum from Colorado Christian University. 

Mrs. Sheldon has an eagerness for creatively exploring learning.  This has been demonstrated by her most recent position as a gifted and talented director/teacher for Kendrick Lakes Elementary School in Jefferson County.  Serving in this capacity has allowed her to lead numerous training sessions throughout Colorado.  She also served as an instructional leader where she had the opportunity to train and mentor teachers.  Under her leadership Kendrick Lakes showed the most growth of any gifted and talented center school in the county.

Lori has also enjoyed working with inner city students in San Francisco, California; teaching Inuit Indians in Alaska, and designing a gifted program for a Title I school in Jefferson County.

Ms. Christina Spare – Assistant Principal

Christina Spare is a career educator who has worked for fourteen years as an elementary school teacher, literacy specialist, and instructional leader. Most recently, she served as a literacy teacher and instructional coach at Wilder Elementary School in Littleton, where she assumed numerous leadership roles, mentored teachers, and helped struggling readers improve. Christina worked previously in Denver Public Schools and in Adams County, where she taught Kindergarten, First, and Second Grades. She is in her second year as assistant principal at Bromley. Christina obtained her principal licensure from the University of Northern Colorado and holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She spends her time away from work with her husband Alex, a high school English teacher, and her sons Sam, Henry, and William.

VickyGoodner

Ms. Vicky Goodner – Attendance

I have been at Bromley East Charter School for ten years. I have been a school secretary in the charter schools for 17 years. I love working with all of the different ages of children.  I have three children, two boys and a daughter. I have two grandsons, one is 11years old and the other one is two years old. My husband’s name is Alan and we have been married for 31 years.

LauraRamirez

Ms. Laura Ramirez – Student Health Aide

I have been part of the Bromley East Charter School family since November of 2003. I started out in Custodial/Maintenance, which included everything from cleaning classrooms, fixing desks, and waxing floors just to name a few of the many tasks that position holds. In 2008 I transferred into the office as Records Clerk and Field Trip Coordinator. I am currently enjoying my new position as Bromley East Charter Schools, Student Health Aid. My primary role and certifications include: administering medications to students, performing other health procedures (diabetes care, emergency response care for severe allergies, asthma and seizures), implementing health care plan interventions and providing basic first aid to students.  I am currently a member of Bromley’s Student Accountability Committee (SAC), Lead Chair Person of our Emergency Management Team (EMT), and Field Trip Coordinator. My daughter, along with  my niece, nephew and 3 cousins attend Bromley.

Ms. Sam Clinton – Office Manager

My name is Samantha Clinton and I am the Accounts Payable Manager here at Bromley East Charter School.  I started at Bromley in the special education department three years ago where I worked closely with students as well as teachers.  This year I moved to the front office and am very excited about my new position.  Originally from England, I have been in the United States for 19 years.  My husband, Marcus, and I moved to Colorado in 1996 and have loved living here in this beautiful state.  We have a small business plus three wonderful daughters, Emily, Jessica and Abby who all attend Bromley East.  In my spare time I like to read, cook, watch movies, bikeride and spend time with my family. I am proud to be part of this team at Bromley and am thrilled about the direction that the school is heading under the leadership of our three principals and the dedication of our amazing teachers and of course our wonderful students.

Ms. Reah DiRito, Registrar

Reah DiRito, Registrar

My name is Reah DiRito and I am the Registrar for Bromley East.  I began working at Bromley East in August of 2011 as a lunchroom/recess para-professional and moved into the registrar position in November.  I also have two children that attend Bromley and have been very involved as a volunteer since 2007.  I am currently the Secretary for the SAC (School Accountability Committee) as well as a co-chair for the Welcome Wagon, where we welcome new families to the school.  Some of my interests include running, camping, reading and spending time with my husband and kids.  I love the staff here at Bromley and enjoy working with the parents and students.
